2

Open the dashboard

Open the dashboard and pick the Missing, Unidentified, or Unclaimed tab. After you sign up, you can take a guided tour of the interface.
3

Narrow the list

Search by name, case number, CaseDock ID, or place, then filter by sex, source, state, age range, dates, and foul-play indicators. You can also type a plain-English question into Ask AI to fill in filters. See Find cases.
4

Open a case

Select a case to view its details, evidence tags, and source link. Each case has a permanent CaseDock ID, like CD-M-0000123, that you can share or save.
5

Look for leads

From a case, run a cross-reference to see ranked research leads from records of the opposite type. Verify any lead with the original source.
6

Track your work

Mark the case as unreviewed, in progress, or reviewed in the Research Desk, add private notes, or save it to a collection.
Press Ctrl/⌘ + K to open the command palette and jump anywhere or run a filter.
